Background:  This webinar archive was hosted by ITE's Sustainability Taskforce in partnership with Greenroads Foundation in an effort to share alternative perspectives on sustainable design. The webinar archive will provide an overview of the Greenroads Rating System and the project certification program in a context relevant to professional transportation practitioners. The presentation will have an introduction to the rating system and case studies of three projects that have been successfully certified within the last year in Washington state. The presentation offers insight into sustainable design and construction practices and the Greenroads roadway certification process from the perspectives of professionals in both the private and public sectors.
