COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This webinar will give participants an overview of the Monterey Road complete street project in Morgan Hill, a community at the far southern end of Silicon Valley. This project included innovative outreach techniques, a two-day tactical urbanism demonstration of two road diet alternatives and extensive performance monitoring during a six-month pilot project to reduce a former Caltrans four-lane highway through downtown to a two-lane main street with buffered bike lanes.
