COURSE DESCRIPTION: What's new in intersection design? This webinar will address the impact and implications of new intersection designs.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 1) Discuss if alternative intersections are pedestrian and bicycle friendly.

2) Illustrate accommodating vehicles, bicyclists, and pedestrians with a hybrid for Diverging Diamond Interchange(DDI).

3) Define what is a Bridge Bypass Intersection (BBI).

 

Things to know:
Webinars are designed for group training in one location. Have staff or invited guest in one room, have the presentation projected onto a screen and the audio received from the computer mic/speakers or telephone.

This course is eligible for the following certification renewal(s): PTOE, PTP

Course Credit: 1. 5 PDH
 
Earning Course Credit: A course evaluation must be completed. This enrollment and the evaluation is name specific and non-transferable. Site attendees may earn course credits upon verification by ITE staff. Instructions regarding the process will be provided to the site registrant via email and in an attachment.
