Depositions are a key part of lawsuits. ITE members are deposed as both expert witnesses, as representatives of their agencies and firms. Learning how to properly answer questions and conduct yourself in depositions is not taught in school or on the job, generally. This webinar will explore common techniques used by attorneys in depositions and provide some tips on how to conduct yourself in a matter that best protects the interests of your employer or client.

  • Define the context and importance of depositions
  • List common techniques used by attorneys in depositions
  • Recognize what to answer and how to answer
  • Understand the subtext of depositions and how to present yourself appropriately
