Learning Objectives:
Evaluation of the role of speeding in crashes and national speeding-related crash trends.
• The state of practices of speed management for the three focus areas including policies and procedures, safety plansand focus areas, research publications, and guidance.
• Strategies and initiatives for integrating speed management into an agency’s overall policies, as well as their roadway departure, intersection, and pedestrian/bicyclist safety programs.

How to join the webinar:
You may access the live webinar up to, but not more than, 30 minutes in advance of the webinar start time at the Learning Hub (www.ite.org/learninghub) by following the steps below. You will not be able to join the webinar more than 15 minutes after the webinar begins in accordance with NCEES Continuing Professional Competency Guidelines.

  • If you do not have an account, create one.
  • Select the MY COURSES tab
  • Select the LAUNCH button below the title of the webinar you are attending
  • Click ATTEND NOW 
  • Within this event you will be able to download the PowerPoint presentation and any other handouts (if applicable). These tools should be available well in advance of the webinar start time.

 

How to host a webinar

Webinars are designed for group training in one location. Invite guests or colleagues to join you in one room with the webinar presentation projected onto a large screen. We suggest hosts download the material in advance for the attendees, and type in questions for the presenters on behalf of the attendees at your site. 

How to earn PDH credits
To successfully complete this webinar, and receive qualifying PDH credits, we are required to verify your attendance, and to do so, we ask that you complete a survey at the end of this webinar. Instructions will be provided at the beginning and end of the webinar.

There is a processing fee of $15 ITE member/ $25 non-member for each additional attendee (other than the registrant) seeking PDH credits. To pay this fee, a link will be sent to the host (approx. one hour after the webinar) for distributing to their attendees via email. If the additional attendees are not registered in our system, they will not be able to complete the survey, and will not receive the PDH credits in their transcript.


Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations accepted up to 2 days prior to the webinar after which the registration fee is non-refundable.
