Webinar Description:
This webinar provides design professionals with the basic knowledge of the effects that design decisions can have on the safety of roadway facilities. It covers the proven countermeasures that have been shown to reduce various types of crashes. The webinar will consider safety impacts for all modes of travel as well as considering various roadway types and community context. Crash Modification Factors can help designers quantify the safety improvements from implementing countermeasures. It covers roadside safety information from the Roadside Design Guide.
