COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This webinar provides an introduction to the Star Rating and Safer Roads Investment Plan
models, how they developed, what their origins are, what the rationale behind
them are.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Identify the structure and principles behind iRAP’s Star Rating and Safer Roads Investment Plans models.
- Discuss the underlining science the iRAP models are built on and how the mode has developed.
- Determine the key criteria needed to localize an iRAP assessment to local conditions such as crash numbers, speed, traffic flow, costs and treatment life.
